The Civil Rights Act of 1964 ended discrimination, or segregation by

law , no one may be discriminated against due to their race, gender,

or religious reasons. The Voting Rights Act in 1965 ended

discrimination laws with regards to voting in at 1st the South, which is

still under these rules, and other minority areas, like Hispanic Areas

and areas along Quebec where a lot of people speak French. In

Housing the Fair Housing Act of 1968 ended discrimination based on

    race in buying/selling houses.

There may be more info here than you wanted, but you can scan through it and see what you need.

When jim crow laws start- In 1876.

When jim crow laws end- African Americans began in the south to use legal suits, mass sit-ins, and boycotts to stop segregation. In 1963, over 200,000 African Americans marched into Washington D.C. which started the movement to end the life under Jim Crow.

    Hope that help :)
