Good Choices in a Free Remote Assistance Program?

My friends moved miles away from me & am not wanting to travel that far just to work on their PC. I Do Not want to use the remote assistance that comes with Windows.

Do you have any favourites that you personally have used & like & are free?

Both of us are running XP.

I've never used this type of program yet so it's all new to me.

    www.logmein.com Is awesome. Even better: It can run across different platforms: i.e. I use Linux and I remoted into my buddys Win XP.
