Is it normal to lose 25 pounds in a week?

    Of course not. If you do so, it's only gonna be your water weight. Which will surely get back in you. Maximum you can only lose up to 3-4 pounds a week. Which is maximum, but if you really are sincere about losing weight on a longer run, then don't go beyond losing 2 pounds a week. This is the best approach to lose weight.

    Don't be too serious about diets. Cause when you restrict them too much, you will eventually end up eating loads later on. Have what you like in limits. Generally, don't bother about what you're eating when it constitutes to only below 1500 cals per day. And mandatory that you need to burn off around 300 cals minimum per day by working out. Only diet never ever helps. Even if you hog a lot one day, you can cover it up by doing more work outs. This will ensure slow, gradual but everlasting weight loss. ALL THE BEST.

    Thats extremely unhealthy. How much exercise have you been doing? Have you been eating anything in order to lose this weight? Perhaps go to your doctor to investigate this further. This is hardly an issue to be solved via Yahoo Answers. Even if you didnt eat and exercised, I still dont think it would be normal to lose so much.

    no. 3 pounds would be great, if you are actively trying to lose weight with exercise and diet. if you lost 25 lbs in one week, something is way wrong.
