Background Information: we've known each other for nine years and have just started hanging out and talking for the past year more. He's 3 years older than me.
Signs that have me confused:
-we do hearts on facebook chats as in " <333"
-last time i saw him he kept playfully annoying me to see my phone
-he chased me around his house and hugged me
-he acts like a jerk if a bunch of people are around, but when they leave he's different
-he jokes about us being a couple
-he always talks to me about guys i like
-i always find him looking at me

Definitely flirting and definitely scared of rejection, that is why he acts diff around friends. Also there is an old saying that there is always some true feelings revealed in a joke. Thank about the last time you cracked a joke on someone, there was some truth to it wasn't there/

well he sounds really immature but its probably just flirting. If it were love he would be much more commited and serious about it

you really can never tell if someone loves you until they tell you.
however it definitely sounds like hes into you and wants to be with you.
maybe get it out of him with truth or dare.

i think that hes 2 good 4 u even if he is immature cuz im sure ur worse than him and thats why he likes u becuz he finally found someone WORSE than him
