Why do people think it is ok to get an abortion?!!?

Your basically murdering the baby before it was born...I think it is a horrible thing to do. I think it would be best to give the baby up for adoption. There are family's that would like to have baby's but cant

Update:

i am not trying to be rude and this is just my opinion...i just wanted to know why people get abortion...now i would wanna get an abortion if i got raped and had a baby with the rapist...but i would not wanna get an abortion just because i got pregnant but i guess it is all up to the person who got pregnant.

I don't believe that I have any right to tell someone else how to live their life.

I don't think that it's a decision that anyone makes light of, but everyone must make their own decision about what they believe is best.

I half agree with you. I'm pro-choice but want children so I would never have an abortion.

However, I feel that it's worse for a child to be brought into this world where the mother feels it's okay to drink, smoke and/or do drugs while pregnant. It's worse for a child to be brought into a home where he or she is not wanted or loved... or beaten. So many kids grow up this way. I think it's heartbreaking when a child is abused and treated in such a manner and it's my feeling that maybe they would've been better off aborted than to be brought into such a horrible environment.

That's just my feeling on it. Abortions are horribly and terribly sad but I don't feel it's my place to tell a woman what she can or cannot do with her body. I just feel it's wrong when she abuses her body while pregnant. If you want to put those poisons in your body, that's your right to do so but when you become pregnant, it's no longer just YOUR body. I also hate when people smoke and do drugs around their kids. It's terrible for their psyche. I know from experience.

Also, it's "families that would like to have babies but can't."

    i agree.

im not sure if i a pro life or pro choice.

    you see here is why:

I deff. bealive if you have sex willingly with someone weather you used protection or not, and you get pregnant, you knew that that was always a possibility as sex is for reproduction, sometimes there is NO way around it. So i think that those people should have to live with the choice and buck up and raise the baby or give it to a loving family who perhaps cannot have children.

then, on the other hand....let say you where beaten down and raped....would you want to walk the next 40 weeks carring a strangers baby?

or better: NOT saying at all that YOUR dad would do this, but hypathetically seaking:

your father rapes you and you end up pregnant....this baby has a 75% chance of being seriously messed up, and do you really wanna have to walk toe next 40 weeks carrieing your own fathers baby?

I personally would never get an abortion, none of these things have happend to me....BUT i did have sex, using protection and i did get pregnant....

and here i am now 34weeks pregnant and we cannot wait to meet our son =) i couldnt think of any other dissison i would have made!

True true. This is your opinion though right? So for other people it is their opinion to do what they please with their own body. Whether it be keeping the pregnancy or not. There are a huge amount of reasons that people do this, none of them ever seem right, I understand that. But for the majority of women who do end up having an abortion the emotional pain afterwards can be excruciating. They think about it all the time and wish that they would have done something different.

That is totally self righteous. Im sorry but we don't live in a land of fairy tales and happy endings. There are dead beat men out their who will straight leave a woman forever if she gets pregnant. And then you have 12 or 13 years olds getting pregnant. Im just realist, I think in some cases there really is no other choice. And its not murder! War is murder!!!

why do you think its ok to tell others what to do? get over yourself.

every time you eat a cow you are supporting murder.every time you wear leather you are supporting murder.these animals were ALREADY living breathing beings.embryos aren't.they are clumps of cells.

YOU also have no right to dictate other peoples lives.you obviously dont know what loss is otherwise you wouldn't act like its so casual to give a baby to strangers.if that's what somebody wants to do, power to them, but people should be forced to.

and there are already PLENTY of legally free children that need parents in the foster care system.if people were that desperate to be parents, they would adopt them and not babies.

right because having a 13 year old girl who was raped, going through the trauma of child birth oh yeah... PLUS!! sometimes, woman can die if they dont kill the baby. so giving up two lives, and then no more, or give up one and then the mother is able to have more children later, for more life.

    Think about it!

"Why do people think it's OK?" Because they don't share your opinion, and they don't have to. Abortion is a legal act, which means that every woman has the right to choose for herself. If you don't like it, don't choose it for yourself.

Not everything is black and white. Every person's life is different and nobody can understand (nor judge) another person's decisions.

Because people are allowed to think whatever they want to think without needing your thoughts, feelings and permission.
