African-American as the next Spider-man? Agree or disagree?

    I think if Stan Lee wanted Spider-man to be black he would have done it. He didn't. Movie makers don't have the right to change the creator's vision.

    I like Toby. No racism involved, have just grown attached to Toby. On the other hand, there were a lot of Batman actors, some certainly better than others, and if we're going to drag out Spiderman's life the same way, why not an African-American hero?

    I personally think people worry WAAY too much about race. But I really wouldn't care what nationality/race the next spiderman is going to be.

    Why do the black actors have to ride the coat tails of white characters? The Karate Kid is black and now Spidey? This is just wrong!
