Most likely because modern Conservatives only accept a very strict definition of Liberal/Conservative. Modern Conservatives adopt one ideological perspective, and if you disagree then you are probably better off simply going against it. Look what has happened to Republicans that supported even a single, solitary Democrat-sponsored idea. I prefer being a Democrat/Liberal because we aren't afraid to call out our party or candidates on BS.

I asked a question about Israel having nukes and some idiot called me a retard because I assumed that Israel would not have Intercontinental nukes. I assumed that they would have weapons that didn't hit the wrong spot. Which means technology that is proven the longest period of time.
