it's yet another example of creationists inability to understand basic logic, not to mention what evidence we actually have.

if we are wrong about how whales evolved, we are wrong about how whales evolved, we are not required to suggest that evolution doesn't work at all, we are just required to stop saying whales evolve in the way we previously thought.(this assumes, just for the sake of argument that the creationist is right about whales, which they aren't) you wouldn't bulldoze a house just because it has a leaky faucet, why throw out a perfectly good explanation if only a tiny part of it isn't accurate, and can be fixed easily?

now creationists clamor on and on about how "we don't have enough transitional fossils to conclude evolution" when the fact of the matter is that we have plenty, even for whales (we have found six significant intermediate species in the fossil record)

in essence their making it seem like all of evolution hinges on our current explanation of how whales evolve, which it doesn't. secondly they present a false dichotomy, suggesting its either "us or them" when the reality is just as likely, evidence aside, to be either a mix of the two extremes, or some third explanation. this false dichotomy is propped up by yet another logical fallacy, the argument from ignorance, their suggesting that because we supposedly don't know how whales evolved, that we must rely on creationism to explain it.

how cowardly must you be to support an explanation(creationism) in an effort to hide your own ignorance(origin of whales)?

Creationists don't have any arguments about any aspect of evolutionary biology. The things they say are so utterly absurd as not to deserve an answer. And I'm a Christian. But a rational one.

spoken as a true evolutionist paul. don't claim to be something your not so as to make the other party look like idiots. to the question, evolutionists usually brush them aside, believing there claim to be "scientists" to be enough for people to be believe them. Unfortunately there lies are currently spreading.
