I am no Tim Gunn, but here goes. I try to keep in my closet at all times clothes that are classic and can be worn to almost anything based on accessories and how they are matched up.

Obviously, mix and match for your needs and budget

1) At least on pair of heels.

2) Skinny jeans (that actually fit!).

3) A little black dress for fancy occasions.

4) A basic tee for not so fancy occasions.

5) Push-up bra.

6) At least one pair of flats/sandals/flip flops.

7) One white and one black camisole to wear under shirts (other colors are optional).

8) Winter coat.

9) At least one pair of sexy panties for special occasions.

10) A cardigan/sweater.

That's as basic as it get ;)
