What do you think of Rousseau's ideas on education?

Just interested to see what other people have to say--no one I know offline seems to care about Genevan philosophers. I think Rousseau made some good points, particuarly for his time.

    yeah I agree I think that they have schools that he would approve of (although they weren't created necessarily with him in mind) I believe that they are Montesouri schools. I have included a link to the wiki explanation so you can see what I mean.

    Rousseau was ahead of his time, a brilliantly paranoid philosopher.

    Much like a lot of other famous great people not too many people admired his works until after his death.
