Are there any cichlids that can live in a 7 gallon tank?

Hi, I have this 7 gallon tank that I used to house my platies in but now I have moved them and it just sits around. I really love cichlids, they are so pretty! Are there any kinds of cichlids that can live in that small of a tank? I would want a pair of them, not just one. Please give me the common names. Also, if you have any experience breeding in a small tank like that, what fish did you use? I'm open to all suggestions!

Thanks so much!

Kribensis cant live in 7 gallons they need 20 gallons and Rams need a minimum of 20 gallons also the last answer stating 3 other species of fish is also incorrect a betta fish and a snail would be all you could fit in that size tank

None of those ones listed will live in a 7 gallon tank! Rams get 3 inches, more in some species. Kribs get 4 inches or so. The others aren't even close. A minimum of 20 gallons is needed on the smallest ram species, and up from there on the rest.

The Jeweled Goby Cichlid is smaller than any of the ones mentioned, and even it wouldn't do well in that size tank.

The answer is "no", or if you do try it, "not for long" (they get sick and die).

A pair of blue rams would be fine. They like soft acid water and temperatures in the high 70's. Peat moss in the filter will help.
