Can an officer in the US military be a dual citizen, or do they have to be just a US citizen?

Update:

Thanks for the answers below; however, by law, all commissioned officers in the military MUST be US citizens. My questions is if one can hold dual citizenship regardless of US policy not recognizing duality.
