Culturally Speaking: Do you think that in the US, some interracial pairings just can't happen?

Black guy and Asian girl rarely happens because Asian girls have some very racist parents in most cases who are against them dating a guy who is Black, Hispanic or even another type of Asian, they only want their daughters to date White men if they date out and that is because White skin is considered beautiful in Asia. But I have seen it a lot, especially in bigger cities.

Middle Eastern guy with a Latina rarely happens because most Latinas resemble Middle Eastern men and most Middle Eastern men try to date White girls because Blondes are considered beautiful in their culture and they believe they may have a higher chance of getting a US Citizenship.

I am an Indian guy dating a Latina but it is so rare because Indians in general (that means not all but most) are probably the most racist people on the face of planet earth, even the ones here in the US. Most Indian parents are against their kids dating outside their own race, the nicer ones allow their kids to date Whites and that is IT. Mines are pretty cool parents and they share a bond with me, they are fine with me dating a Puerto Rican girl, most Indian parents would beat their kids if their kids dated a Black, Hispanic or even another Asian person.

Basically it has to do with cultures and Indian and Middle Eastern people just recently started coming to the US as opposed to Black, White and Hispanics who have been here for a while so they still retain parts of their bigoted and racist culture. Some Indian people who have been here for a while I notice do tend to prefer Latinas and Asian women over White women, my doctor was born and raised in the US and he married a Venezuelan woman who was also born and raised in the US, his parents were okay with it. An Indian girl I knew tried to marry a Black man, her parents disowned her.

Well here is my answer you have to look at state demographics...what is available to date and what is not available..then you have to see how their society views interracial dating and if its highly excepted more interracial dating will occur. You also have to take into account that not all people are taught that it's okay to date outside their race. I have noticed when I was dating a white man their were a whole bunch of questions on this forum about such pairing and now I am dating a Punjabi (indian) man and now they are the daily topic lol funny happenstance I suppose.

Well if you were to ask me who I would date when I was younger I would have said black men. In my teens that totally changed because I was considered white washed...which is a term I still don't understand I act like myself not white...Well now I'm 19 and I have dated everything but asian me since I've found few to be attractive to me ( my opinion). I like dating inter-racially and sometimes it can be difficult if the other person has strong religious person who are against such pairings or if its the persons first time and they don't know how to act in a relationship of two cultures...I think its just plan ignorance ....a culture clash and people are not willing to accept an others differences. Its a learning curve that I am quickly trying to accomplish I never want to shut the door on any race.

In the US there is more fear associated with it, what society might think. An Asian guy or Indian guy (most of who are academically oriented) may not date a Black girl or Latina because they feel that they may be "downgrading" themselves in society. Also, lets be straight, I don't know about Black guys but I know Hispanic guys do this a lot. When they see a Middle Eastern, Asian or Indian guy with one of their girls, they throw such a fit that a lot of them would start getting offended and cracking race jokes, Mexicans (mostly the Americanized ones from the Western part of the US) throw these fits most often. Out of fear most people either stick within their own race or date the majority race which is more often than not, White people. Another problem is Hollywood, it is so racist that it gives negative stereotypes to anyone that isn't a White liberal, even White conservatives get treated like crap from Hollywood when in general they are good people. So lets say a Hispanic girl decides to fall for an Asian guy, result? Small ding ding jokes, dog eating jokes, communist jokes, and nerd jokes flying around left to right. I believe that the US is a great country (best in the world in my opinion) but just like any other nation, we have some things to improve on, though not as much but certainly some things that we can improve on indeed.

I have noticed this too. I have not yet to see a black woman and an asian man together not even in the media. I would seriously like too. Me being an african american female i'm open to an interracial relationship with any race of a guy. I especially think that indian & middle eastern men are very attractive. Caste system and or cultural differences may be the issue?

There is no mix that is non-existent. However, I will acknowledge that when members of a certain group seek a relationship with a member from a different group, it's usually because they seek something different, something they either don't usually find in their group, or something they want to avoid. For that reason, we are finding more certain matches, as you mention. For instance, Asian women might be looking for a little more freedom from established gender roles when they look for White guys, something they are not finding in Asians or Blacks. But I've met Asian women with Black guys, or White women with Asian guys... you do find every kind of mix.

Well where I live the most common couple is white guy with asian women and then white guy with black girl. I have only seen 2 black guys with white girls and yet everyone makes it seem like all black guys are doing, but I don't see it. To you some relatioships may be rare, but to me it's common. You're right though, I usually don't see an indian with a latina.

im from long beach cali, there arent really alot of indian people here, but there are some irish desendants, and i see most of them with people of different race so i guess it can be about who is where and whats available

No, anything can happen. A lot of the Blasian people in my family have a black mom and a Japanese or Chinese dad.

but if really like the girl and you connection is strong then colour trends wont matter

Interracial dating is highly exaggerated.
