Does anyone here use retractable clotheslines?

I live in an apartment with a nice sized patio (9"long x 4" wide). Our landlords do allow us to hang our clothes outside to dry. Up to now, I've used my treasured 4ft chrome drying rack. It does well, but fully loaded doesn't allow for much airflow to allow quicker drying. I miss the ability to have a clothesline, so I looked at some retract-ables that were available and came across this http://www.clotheslinesource.com/clotheslines/retr...

I would like to attach it across the top bar of the metal railing which stands 3ft from the patio floor. Last year I had a large amount of laundry that needed done and picked up a long length of clothe-line rope. I inter-weaved it very tightly across the top bars, and was able to create about 4 available lines for my use. I was thrilled to discover that everything remained elevated from the floor. However, it was a bit labor intensive to be practical for me. I've googled multiple sites hoping to get a list of available hardware for this model, and also used the "ask a question" feature on some of the sites, but no answer. I am pretty handy as far as modifying things to fit my needs, but would really like to know what's coming, so it can be put to use the instant it arrives. I would like to know if these are of good enough quality to even invest in?

What is the included hardware?

Could these be attached to metal bars without compromising the unit? ( I'm all ready stocked with heavy duty zip ties as a guess for now). Thanks in advance for your help!!!

Update:

the railing I would attach this to is roughly 5 inches in diameter. Other than that rail, I have brick walls, so I can't do much there...I have a couple ways to work around attaching it to the rails though so thats good to know it just comes with screws. I plan to keep my trusty drying rack to handle the heavy stuff, since these do look a bit flimsy. Thanks!!!
