Does Obama know how big a fool he made of himself firing McChrystal, or is?

McChrystal's contributions to America will far outshine Obama's in history. Obama has changed the rules of engagement in Afghanistan that has resulted in the loss of our troops lives needlessly.. He has turned this war into one of defense when it was one of offense. The change of command in Afghanistan will make little difference. Obama does not listen to his Generals anyway nor act in a timely manner on their recommendations. McChrystal asked for more troops. Obama dithered for months and then only gave him one third of what he asked for.

I thought McChrystal would be able to BS his way out of it, but it was his own fault. You have no freedom of speech in the military. You learn this from day one in boot camp. It is a totally different kind of place to work. I didn't get to read his comments yet but from what I heard, they weren't that bad, but it is Obama's decision, not yours or mine.

A guy in the military was at a bar when some civilian started cussing him, so he left. The guy followed him outside where he tried to hit him in the face. The military guy ducked and hit him in the mouth, the guy fell and cracked his head on the side walk and died. He was charged with involuntary manslaughter, so before the civilian trial, they kicked him out of the military. A few weeks later he goes to court and they ruled self defense and nothing happened to him. The military does what it thinks is best for them, this goes all the way up the chain to Obama.

You shouldn't bash Bush so much. He's retired. If Obama is a fool for firing McChrystal, Bush must of been a fool to the fifth power. The Bush administration replaced generals for much less than what McChrystal said.

McChrystal did it to himself. I can not stand Obama, and I hope he is one and done like nothing else. But McChrystal is a fool to think he can bash his boss and keep his job. Period.

He is full of himself and doesn't care. Anyone who speaks against him is either fired or forced to resign. It is like he is on some sort of power trip and has to prove to himself above all others that he is THE MAN and in charge. I guess that is the only way he has left to show authority.
