This Or That? Biblical Girl Names...?

Adah -- I've never been too fond of Abigail. I know far too many for me to find the name even a little bit appealing. It's not terrible though, and I can certainly see the appeal. Adah is beautiful.

Anna -- Adina's interesting sounding, but I'll aways have a soft spot for the name Anna. It's truly lovely, and can be appreciated for its simplicity.

Bethany -- I really dislike the name Bernice. It sounds so dated and stuffy. The nickname Bern isn't too appealing, either. Bethany is beautiful.

Claudia -- Chloe is far too popular for me to like. Claudia is nice and underused. Not a favorite, but I still prefer it over Chloe by a lot.

Delilah -- Both of these are wonderful. Delilah has been a favorite of mine forever though, so I chose that one. I like Dinah for its uncommonness, though.

Esther -- Most people don't like the name Esther because they think it's too old fashioned, or they can only imagine it on a grandmother, but I quite like it. I can actually imagine it on a little girl. Eden, I prefer on a boy.

Eve -- Eve is so innocent and soft, it's absolutely beautiful. I have trouble coming up with middle names for it, however. Elizabeth is quite nice, but far too common. I go to school with a bunch of Elizabeths / Ellies.

Hannah -- Not too big on either of these (and it surprises me that I love Anna but dislike Hannah), but Hannah is definitely the one I favor. Hagar doesn't have an attractive sound to it.

Joanna -- Really sweet sounding. Julia is nice too, but it's not as lovely as Joanna.

Leah -- Love love love Leah. I used to not like it because it was so popular, but it actually died down in popularity where I live so I decided to add it to my name list. Lydia's wonderful, too.

Mary -- Mary is *such* a gorgeous name. I'd be ecstatic to see it on a little girl. I didn't choose the name Magdalene because that's my name, but I do like that name as well (trying not to be biased).

Myra -- Beautiful. I'd add it to my name list, but I already have Maya on there and I'm afraid the two names are too similar. Martha's nice, but not a favorite.

Naomi -- I do have a soft spot for this name because it's my best friend's name, and I love her to death. I'm actually not sure if I'd like it if it weren't for her, but since I do know her, I love it. Neriah doesn't appeal to me.

Phoebe -- Phoebe's such a cute name. Might be a little *too* cutesy for my liking, but it's better than Priscilla which I dislike a lot.

Rachel -- I'm never been able to bring myself to like Rebekah / Rebecca because I knew a not so great girl with the name. Rachel on the other hand, is a nice name. It's familiar and simple without being exceedingly popular (where I live, anyway).

Ruth -- Both of these names are great in my opinion, but Ruth won by a little bit. I have it on my name list as a middle name. Rhoda is one of my guilty pleasures because I thought it sounded too much like Yoda, haha!

Susannah -- I prefer it spelled Susanna, without the 'h' at the end, but both are really nice. Sarah is way too popular for my taste. I know at least ten.

Zipporah -- These are both really...interesting. Can't say I'm too fond of either, but Zipporah is the one I can tolerate the most.
