It is very difficult at 16 to find out who you are and to realise that things aren't as easy as when you were a kid. The world seems different and bewildering, the changes in your body can make you feel self conscious and shy. Best thing to do is to join a club or group doing something you enjoy so that you feel less isolated. Don't worry too much as all your peers will be going through the same sort of mixed emotions and shyness, with a little effort you could increase your social circle. Don't worry about the world its OK bad things happen but so do wonderful things, visit the countryside, beach etc go for walks it might cheer you up, put a smile on your face and people will smile back. Hope this helps as we've all been there Andy the old fart

Hi.
You can have a life with or without love and be alone or in company.
It depends on the way you hold life in consciousness. Is it an opportunity, a blessing, a chance to give the gift of yourself, or is it a dissatisfactory transitory state where people make you feel alone or loved?

Obviously I would take loneliness. Love rarely works and would just cause trouble and stress later on. Besides, it's just chemicals.

I suppose the only real choice I, with the indefinite structure of life, time, and my thoughts, can choose, would be 'or.' I will never live to love, I will forever love to live. I cannot choose a life of love, without a lover, whom will love back, and I cannot guarantee that my lover and I will never stray, that we will never grow to be different people, people who are not lovers. I would rather live a life of indefiniteness, wonder, and question in the embrace of the wind, than a life of permanence in the arms of another.

a life with loneliness.
If I love something and get too attached it will only die. ^^

A life with love.
You, presumably, have chosen the loneliness route. The person you love doesn't actually exist. How sad is that?
