At what age should a dad stop letting his daughter in the bath with him?
I know everyone will have different opinions, my daughter has always jumped in with me but do you think at 14 she is now getting a little bit old?

Yes every family is different, but I have to go with most of the other guests and say she is much too old. At the age where children start noticing that boys and girls have different 'private parts' (about 4) would be my limit.
You must have a very large bathtub...?

My daughter has always been very independent, and by the time she was capable of showering on her own (at the age of 5 or 6), my wife and I stopped showering with her. Same with my son. Fourteen is far too old, she's already partially developed, and sexually curious because of the hormones. In fact, I'd draw the line at 7 or 8. You both run the chances of crossing the line, or even just thinking about it for a millisecond. Even if the latter isn't the case, others may take it the wrong way, so it's still unacceptable.

It's going to vary from family to family and situation.
A bathtub early primary (5 to 7 or 8) is probably normal to phase it out.
A shower might be a toward the end of that so 7 or 8.
But then again a Dad taking a daughter to a beach side shower where you're still in your bathers can go older.

I think 14 would even stretch my tolerance. More than anything else, I would resent the loss of space (and having to sit against the taps!) I've no problem chatting to her if she merely came in to the bathroom. My daughter (13 years) has done this in the past, but I think she's getting too embarrassed about it. I'd probably ask her some questions if she actually got in the bath with me.

Having 4 girls,i have faced this problem with 3 of them so far,(my 4th is only 7 weeks lol)..The eldest are 12,6,and 4..and none of them share a bath with their dad anymore so I would put a limit on the age of 4 years.
Like your 14 year old,,If my 12 year old were to dive in the bath with her dad,,I wouldn't be able to get away from that ''icky'',''un-healthy'' feeling about it :-$

I would say that a decade ago she was getting too old. My daughter has never even seen my husband naked. If she were to ever mention to anyone that at 14 she was still jumping in the shower with dad, dad could very well end up in jail.

Id cut it off at 3. 4 MAX. He can still bathe her, but I dont think they should be in the same shower/bath together.

I guess 5 at the latest!
Little girls don't need to be subject to male body parts after that age. Fourteen years old is sick on the fathers behalf. I hope that you are also kidding because if your not I suggest that you call it quits whilst you are still ahead!
