If the 2nd goal for England been counted, the would have played with a different attitude and maybe even won?

Does anyone agree with this?

England was robbed of a goal, but not the result. They deserved to lose. - The Sun

Yes, what started as a calamity ended with an embarrassing loss. Nothing could have salvage a poor display. The sooner England was out, the better because for every game that they played, it became an obvious heartache for supporters.

yeah but germany played a much better game and england deserved to lose.

however, FIFA needs to wake up and realise that they need to install a video reply ffs instead of taking the highlight of England's 2nd goal away from the FIFA official website.

If the second goal was allowed England would have played with a little more vigour but judging from their performances so far in the tournament a win is most improbable.

Maybe, with the score tied at 2-2, England might have played with a different attitude in the second half. And not get caught trying to get the equaliser. Ultimately, that was what undone them.

Strangely enough, England finally played a more enterprising game. They took the game to Germany in the second half, having plenty of action from all players. It was a better performance from the whole team.

What England really needs is to take a look at their defense, at every opportunity Klose had them beat.

i would say England needs to invest more money in their academy as they used to to produce more experienced players.

there is just too much space between the Defenders, if you look at the replays the gaps are huge, enough for like 5 players to fit through.

    Frankly no.

Throughout the whole world cup I can honestly say that England only played at their best for 15 minutes... thats not a lot though 360 minutes of football.

Woeful defending was our biggest problem and thats not placing blame at Upson either, Terry was just as bad.

Had they scored the equaliser, they would've been less inclined to move men forward to push for scores, and would've possibly had a stronger backfield position allowing them to defend better. I'd be willing to say they might have given up at least one less goal. Maybe even two.

I do. I believe that they lost their passion after the second goal was disallowed despite obviously going across the line.

Although i would've played Crouch instead of Rooney. He's fat and stupid.

Of course they would have played with a different attidue, that's certain. However, it's much more difficult to make the case that they would have come anywhere close to winning since they suck and they got their asss kicked 4-1.

No. Germany was hands down the better team. It was a 4-1 game. Even with the bad call, that kind of result doesn't happen by accident.
