Anyone use the fisher price space saver high chair?

I would like to save some room and get rid of my high chair and am thinking about getting the space saver. My son is 15 months old and was wondering if hes to big for it. It holds up to 50 pounds which hes no where near that but just wondering if anyone is using this for there toddler?

My son used one until he was 3 1/2 years old.

I love my stand-alone. It's a great place to put my little ones, and the height is perfect for them watching me work in the kitchen. I just kind of tug it along after me, and my 4 month old loves watching what my 2 year old and I are doing. And I know he is safe. It also doesn't take up one of my dining chairs, so we still have enough seating for guests without getting out the folding chairs. Which is definitely a plus. My 2 year old used the same high chair until she was 20 months old. It was so convenient to be able to put the tray part into the dishwasher, or just take it to the sink to REALLY clean it. (Babies who try to feed themselves purees tend to get it on EVERYTHING.) The large tray and relatively small space between her belly and the tray kept more of the mess off the floor than the booster does, too. Then I bought an inexpensive booster seat for her to sit up to the table with us. Which is a little messier, but a lot of fun with the toddler. I am glad we had the "real" high chair. It does take up space, but it was worth it. The high chair I covet now is the graco blossom. It converts from high chair TO booster, and both the booster and the high chair can be used simultaneously. It looks really awesome. Unfortunately, I'm not made of money, LOL, because I would always want the best of everything.

I had one and used it from 4 months until 3 years of age with my daughter. It was great. Clean up was easy, the compact size was great.

I was even able to sell it for half the original price.

  • My apartment is pretty small so I have them for my two year old daughter and one year old son. I'm sure your son will fit just fine in one. My 5 year old brother can fit in the ones I have.
