Thinking of being a nursing major?

Really want a nursers opinion mainly just RN but if you arent you can answer anyway Ok so I talked to an adviser and he told me I should consider becoming a nurse, but i have some questions about it so here we go (your dont have to answer them all)

What type nurse are you (like what department)

Where do you work (City)

how much do you make (if you dont mind sharing)

What is your favorite part of your job

What is your least favorite part of you job

Any other advice for me?

    I'm currently a nursing student, and it is a lot of fun! you have to be sure you want it though, or you're going to be miserable.

    you can find a job pretty much anywhere in the US. there are tons of different kinds of nursing from pediatric to geriatric, school to surgery, or you can go the administrative or research route (with advanced education).

    the BLS site below gives info on RNs. it's quite thorough and I recommend you read through it. if it sounds like what you want, then go for it! you could probably volunteer at a hospital as well to get a better feel.

    and the worst part of nursing, cleaning up diarrhea!
