It doesn't say. Being sinless, she was not required to die, but agreed to do so out of humility, because her Son died.

The Bible says nothing about the death and Assumption of Mary into Heaven. However, a very ancient tradition says that she died and was taken up bodily to Heaven where her soul was reunited with her body.
This was proclaimed as dogma by Pope Paul XII on November 1, 1950. You can read more about the Assumption here:

Edit:
A thumbs-down for a factual answer is ridiculous. Just because you don't accept something or believe in what's being, that doesn't mean that the answer is wrong.
What I've stated is what the Catholic Church believes, whether you agree with it or not.

I am afraid no one will be able to answer that for you. There is no mention of Mary's life and death after the death of Jesus. Jesus gave the responsibility of His mother, Mary, to John while He was dying on the cross. Not that I am exactly sure what that means. (hopefully he was not still breast feeding)

If you can't do any good at least don't do any bad.
If you think the bible is enough of God's word, you're right;
it's enough to send you to hell.
