Is it possible to change the font size in microsoft word the same amount even if there are different sizes?

I'm writing my resume, and the template I'm using has different font sizes-is there a way to increase the sizes of the fonts the same amount without going through it section by section? like, making a 7.5 part a 9 while a 10 becomes 11.5?

Select all the text. Look at the top of Word (in 2007, go to the home tab) You will see a big A and a small A. If you click on the big A it will increase everything at once. You can not control the increment it increases at, but you may get lucky and end up with exactly what you want (and, of course, the little A decreases the size).

Yes there is. Not everything at once, but everything that matches at once

First a hint. Start with the largest size first and work downwards, otherwise you could inadvertently alter sections that have previously been changed.

Select a (single) section that you want to change. For Word 2007:

On the Home tab. All the way to the right, in the "Editing" panel you should see "select". Click on the drop arrow and select "Select Text with Similar Formatting".

Then make your font size change. This will change all instances that match your original selection.

Repeat for all other font sizes.

Well this thing is not possible never heard in word file something like this can be done.

As you are writing your resume don't thing that will bother you much by making it section by section.

You can use the shortcut key for increasing font size which is ctrl+shift+> & ctrl+shift+< for decreasing font size.

you may spotlight the paragraph and right click on your mouse and choose font, and alter it there, or merely spotlight all of it and make it one font length and then exchange the sentences or words or words that must be diffferent sizes, this many times works for me
