Admission offer from Canada while my immigranion case is already in progress?
I have recently got admission offer for fall 2010 from the University of Waterloo Canada. The problem is that I have also applied for immigration to Canada and the case is in progress and has not been finalized yet . I know I can’t apply for the student visa in this situation. What should I do in this regard? Kindly help me to solve this problem.

you will need to cancel one application and go with the other one
if you are applying from india then the student visa is the faster and easier way to go - you can apply for PR within 1 year after graduation while still working in Canada on a work permit.
normal PR processing from india takes 6 or more years.
