Who is more guilty, the prostitute or the client?

Hey Izzy, In my mind this is a victimless crime. I think neither are guilty of anything because it is consensual. Sure there are instances where women are forced into the profession because of economic circumstances, but outside of that type of situation. I do not think that there is anything to be guilty of!

If you are going to go along with the "legal arguments" then in my mind both parties are equally guilty and should be punished with the same amount and type of punishment.

It comes back to the old saw.

How can something be illegal to purchase when it is legal to give it away! Apply that to any other commodity and you would be laughed out of court.

What most people fail to reaize is that prostitution has been around for centuries and had been a widely accepted profession. It is still legal in Nevada where there are brothels present. The clients have been around for centuries as well. So to say one is more guilty would be a misconception considering i do not think it should illegal. Its a professon like anything else a person does in everyday life. Most women though used this profession to support thier own drug habit then get murdered by a dealer or pimp. those are just whores. and those are the ones wh made it illegal.

I have never believed in the notion that woman are unwilling to do this work except that they are victimized into prostitution. Some women love sex the same as men and not too fussy how they get it..and to get paid to do it and not have to do a normal job merely adds to the intrigue. Before, the argument was always that men victimized women...I never believed that....women have choices...and beside...when you work at McDonald's, your pay is $8 per hour for honest work....prostitutes charge alot of money...so they are not broke...

Check out all the women now working on cam-sex sites....thousands...maybe now millions of women and men also, couples, groups, etc..from the safety of their own bedroom....some women are just naturally co@# teasers and love to see how many men they can get turned on....its a power thing for them...they control us men and they know it...look at the growth of the silicone breast implants....its amazing what ends some women will go to enhance their attractiveness to men and now to other women...

Men who go to SE Asia for sex are simply men like me who cant afford the girls here.in the west...my wife is boring in bed...and she knows it....at least hookers are a business relationship...there should be a win win for both....for every bad trick a prostitute has...there are as many stories of men being ripped off by hookers...but the media never talks about that...for one thing...what man will want to publicly admit to going to prostitutes, let alone being ripped off by one...but it happens alot...that is why they are called whores!

that's a good question. i think the prostitute is the guilty one in the transaction because if she weren't putting it out, the person buying wouldn't have a reason or anything to buy. she creates all of it. also.. it cant be the buyers fault because if he didn't buy her she'd move and someone else could.

I think that guilt lies on the client. The Client wants something and willing to pay money to get it.

i think the both are guilty i mean its illegal i think the client should be more guilty there approving what the prostitute is doing if the prostitute didn't have client there wouldn't be a prostitute

I see prostitution as a form of slavery.

According to Canadian Law, Only the person purchasing sex is guilty. So according to our society it's okay to sell sex, just not to buy it.

I don't really care whether prostitution occurs or not, but the client is definitely the guiltier one.

the one who is most guilty is the one who is peeping through the motel window and key hole, wanting to see a free show.
