    Amen.. What a thought!

Truly shows the power of God's life, which comes into a fallen sinner, redeeming him, regenerating him, mingling with him, to be one with this person. I appreciate so much, that this " excellence' is achieved by God working and operating in a person. Tranforming them gradually, by the renewing of the mind, to have the mind of Christ... manifesting the fruit of the Spirit, and being empowered to use that free Will that God granted man, to CHOOSE God in all things.

Amen, only an amazing God can transform sinners into saints. Shows the ability, power and capability of His Life, of which we have been born of... to be children of this Father.

Before this took place, only the Lord Jesus was the Begotten Son of God the Father. It was in this One that the Father found His delight. Today, because this Christ, as the grain of wheat, fell into the earth and died, in order to release the Life of God that was within Him, He has resurrected and as the Prototype, produces many grains just like Himself, ' in whom is all the Father's delight' What delight this brings the Father, to look on the earth and see many sons who are just like His Beloved Son.

I appreciate this verse so much. Ty for sharing.

May we give the Lord living in us, the fullest cooperation, that we would say AMEN to His work of tranformation, sanctification and conformation to His Image day by day.. from glory to glory.

    1 Thess 5:23

And the God of Peace Himself sanctify you wholly, and may your spirit and soul and body be preserved complete, without blame, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Praise the Lord, we are 'excellence ' in process. The called saints who call upon the Name of the Lord in every place. Declaring His Name in all the earth, bringing delight to God's heart.

    Such an awesome question.

Lovely question sir, if I may take it a notch higher,do you know that the same ability resides in you if you believe the son of God? in John 20 :21 Jesus says peace be with you as my Father has send me so send I you 22 And with that He breathed on them and said "receive the holy Spirit,23 If you forgive anyone his sins, they are forgiven,if you do not forgive them they are not forgiven.

Why don't we rise up and pick our brothers with us,God is looking for earthly vessels that will carry out this noble mandate.

Pick on the streets of New York, the highways of London, the b-passes of china, the corridors of Mumbai

    Hi Deon,

Don't know quite what you are asking me here, so I'll generalise a bit.

We are all soiled with sin, and even when we are made righteous by the covering of Christ (in this Psalm, David is making a reference to his gratitude for God's covering, which in those days was obtained through blood sacrifice), and my response is similar to David's in that I also have a thankful heart towards God for His providence. 'Excellent' has the connotation of an exclamation of pleasure.

David realised, as do christians, that God takes delight as He works His good pleasure in and through us. In line with this we as His children take delight in Him, and His Way (Jesus). Jesus told us that He is the Light of the world, and we as His followers are to be light. As The Father took pleasure in His Son, so He takes pleasure in us when we walk in His statutes, and commands. David knew full well that he had weaknesses, and a leaning towards sin as we do today. It is wonderful to comprehend that one day even this body of sin (Paul alluded to the fact that sin remains in our members, even though our spirit is God's property, and that we work out our salvation with fear and trembling), will be done away with, and this body of corruption will put on in-corruption.

Christians, just like David, are not perfect - we sin. The difference between a christian and a non-christian is that we have a promise of being partakers in the FULL DAY of REDEMPTION, when our bodies will be made perfect, and then we can enter fully into the very presence of God.

This is the main difference compared to all other religions: God stepped down into this fallen world and stretched forth His hand to us through His Christ (Jesus). All that He requires of us is that we say,"Yes". My response only needs to be "Thank you God, yes I will accept Your offer". Then I am set free to want to serve God, and for the first time I REALLY want to obey Him; knowing that when I fail, I am forgiven, and have the ear of God intent towards me that I may ask forgiveness and He picks me up and dusts me down, like a natural earthly father would do when his little child stumbles.

I remain eternally grateful. I'm no saint by any means, God, not the church,, but I expect we all (Christians) will attain that title at the end of this age. makes that determination. But I remain in His debt for rescuing someone as wretched as I was.

Jesus came for those who are sick or sinners. He came to set the captives free. That is what He did for me and I was living my own way and making so many mistakes. He restored me and renewed me and gave me a reason for living.

I love Him. He loved me back to life again.

Jesus is closer to us then even our breath.

I am so glad that He loved me before I was ever lovable. He saved me from the devil's lies and from hell.

I praise His holy name and have never regretted becoming a spirit filled Christian. I live to do His work
