More people die in America from "Lack of Insurance" than die from auto accidents. 50,000 versus 33,000. That's one reason that Obama was elected. Voter rage over these kinds of stats is growing quickly!

A very close friend was just diagnosed with colon cancer by having an MRI for a bowel obstruction. He had surgery to remove half his colon, and will have a colonoscopy every years from now on. He's 100% disabled and can't work, and he has state insurance that pays whatever his primary insurance doesn't pay. However, if I get a bowel obstruction, I will probably die. I live in Nevada.
