I see some people being called trolls. What does that mean?

Actual Answer: People who go around on internet forums and because of their anonymity purposefully answer questions wrong, spout ignorant jargon on sensitive topics and in general attempt to get some emotional response (usually anger) out of their target audience.

For example, the 2 answers before me.

A troll looks to antagonize in anyway he or she can.

A troll will get your goat if you let him or her know where you tied it up at..

A troll is the is the type of person, who tries to push another persons buttons.

For what reason?, no life of their own?, bored with their life?, for the short lived thrill that somehow makes them feel more important or smarter than the average person.,etct....etc....etc...

Maybe liberals should move there to see the inescapable result of their politics.

Generally its a liberal, pretending to be a real person with a real job, such as a republican. but they do such a poor job at it, as they do with everything, you know its false.
