Is it okay to let my cats...?
My two cats,Bobby and Jacey keep biting and like slapping each other.Bobby is around 3 to 4 years old.I got him about 2 or 3 weeks ago.Jacey is around the same age.(We don't really know.)I've had Jacey for 3 years.I got both of them at the same animal shelter in League City,Texas.(where I live.)When I got Bobby I put him in my bathroom and he kept trying to get out so I let him out.(With Jacey it took a couple of weeks before she wanted out.)When they saw each other they really liked each other. But starting last week Bobby starting biting Jacey's neck. She never meowed but I was still worried. And starting yesterday night they started fighting(biting,slapping,ect.).Is it okay to let them do that? They are both really lead back when they are by themselves but sometimes when they're together they start fighting. Please answer. Thanks!

Sounds like they are doing what every animal will do--- establishing who is the dominant cat. Mine did that when I brought my newest home, Target (who is our alpha cat) made sure the new cat knew who was boss. They will duke it out for a few days, and once one "wins" it should calm down a bit. If it does not, keep an eye on them and step in if they get to rough.
