How to I "set the BIOS to safe or setup"?

Why graphics card is playing up, and one of the troubleshooting steps I have been given is "set the BIOS to safe or setup". I have had a look though the mobo manual to see what this means, but could not find anything. Ideas?

The mobo is an ASUS with an AMD chipset.

Thanks

    Hi,

I would think that what they are attempting to do is to set the bios back to the default setting.

That may not be a good idea as it may change the settings enough to stop the pc working all together.

Most likely it would be best to just change the graphic card setting in the bios.

What type and model is the card and what problems are you having?

Were did you get the trouble shooting info?

Just mail me and I'll try and help.

Well...my only guess is go to your BIOS Setup, or boot in safe-mode.
