Do you believe in Karma?
Do you have personal stories to tell that reveal why it does or does not exist? When did you first become aware of the concept and how did it come to your attention? Have you ever wished for good or bad karma for a person and why.

Karma is a law of nature. Karma really means that "every action has a consequence", but the West has perverted its original meaning.

Yes.
Yes. A few. But suffice it to say that there is some form of cosmic justice out there, we call it Karma, some call it fate, some call it God's revenge.
I became aware of it when it was apparent to me that a girl I loved very deeply and I was engaged to a long, long ago was hooked on crack and hurt me pretty badly. She asked to borrow $80 something like a year after she dumped me for her drug dealer. So I lent her the money. Best money I ever spent.
The point is, I never heard back from her after that. But I was watching the show "Cops" and she got busted in her drug dealer boyfriend's house with a scale and mucho mongo quantities of cocaine.
The wisdom of the New Testament says that what you sow you will reap. If you sow good seeds, you reap good crops. If you sow bad seeds, you reap weeds.
Therefore if you go around hurting people or using them, then whatever you did to them gets repaid in negative events. Usually in the form of "blessings" but in reality they aren't.
So in the case of my ex, long-ago fiance' she needed $80 and I basically gave it to her. She went away never to be heard from again, and last I saw of her, she was getting arrested for trafficking in cocaine.
Now I know she did 15 years for that. I also saw her at a Winn Dixie grocery store in the late 90s and she looked pretty beat.
Had she stuck around, life would've been so much better for her. So you see. There it is.
Have I wished for good or bad Karma for someone else? No! You don't do that. It is up to the other person to control their lives, and to do so in a way that doesn't hurt others.

YES. Ive seen Karma in action way too many times. Ive cried out to God for justice before and wondered why isn't something being done with this situation?
Just to see them go down years later.
So, "Karma" takes time, or rather what u reap u sow, as I say I don't quite by the "forgiven" stuff I believe in Karma more...
Karma in action? Well im basically a good person , do my best and try to live by my conscience and Im pretty provided for and happy at this point in my life, although ive stubbed my toe and have had major challenges, ive made a point to pray hard and do plenty of good things and im at a sweet place in life now ! not sure if its karma or just God being easy on me, but it is nice:)
now im not saying i believe in the superstitous eastern form of karma where people go out of thier way to do "good deeds" to rack up merits LOL i just pretty much try to be good because God is good...u know? and i try to bring as much about God into life as long as im here so when i meet my maker i hope he smiles. thats all.
So I think being good and prayer helps and ur safe
good luck !

I have come to believe that there is neither good karma or bad karma, there is just karma. It's there to guide us or "bend" us toward the light. If it feels difficult we tend to call it bad, but it's just there because it what we need at the moment.

Yes, I believe in Karma. I had worked at a factory for 8 yrs. I had had 4 different supervisors in that time.
The last one was horrible. He couldn't stand me. For whatever reason. This was from day one.
I came home crying most of the time. He would belittle me in front of everyone.
I told my sister I couldn't take it anymore I was on the verge of a breakdown. I cried on the way to work one day. When I got to my desk. They said I was to go to HR. I was told I was being laid off.
I always wish for good Karma.

It depends on what you mean. Karma is what is earned in a full lifetime. If you are talking about the old addage: "what goes around comes around" Yes. It has been proven to me over and over.
I had a friend that did me wrong..She got it back.
I had a cousin that stole from me..he got it back.
I had another friend that started a rumor..she got it back.

A man and his wife where once having lunch. While eating, someone knocked the door, and the man told his wife to see who this person is. When the wife opened the door, there was a poor person, that wanted food. When the wife told him who it was, He told her to tell him to go away. Later the man went bankrupt, and was forced to divorce his wife because he was unable to provide for her. Years passed, and the wife got married again. And one day, the woman and her 2nd husband were eating a chicken and someone knocked on the door. When the wife opened, she saw a needy person, and her husband told her to give him that chicken. When she came back to the room she was full of tears and her husband asked her, "Why are you crying". She replied "That was my husband begging for food. One day Him and i were eating and he told a poor man to go away. And now he is begging for food himself" the man replied " yes i remember. I was the bigger." - I forgot who narrated this story, since its a real story that happened. Point is, treat people with care and respect, even if they dont.
