Cramping pretty bad at 32 weeks?

I'm 32 weeks pregnant and cramping what should I do? Should I go to the hospital? Or just call my doctor tomorrow ? I just had a doctors appointment Monday and everything was fine and why do you think I'm cramping or what could be the cause of my cramping?

God bless you all and thank you for answering my questions

Call your doctor's office, as they'll have people there to answer the phones and talk to you. They will probably send you to the hospital right away, as it is most likely that you are going into premature labor and they might be able to stop it from happening now and give your baby more time to mature. You won't be doing anything wrong by going straight to the hospital, but you can always call your doctor's office for things like this, at any time of day or night.

You definitely need to go in though. If your baby is born now, it will be very premature. He/she will have a great chance of recovering from his/her prematurity, but is likely to spend a good deal of time in the NICU and have medical problems. Best to go in and take things as they come.

Good luck and best wishes for a healthy baby.

Remember too that if your baby is premature, breastfeeding or feeding breastmilk is the best thing for him/her to help recover and grow just right. The breastmilk of a mother whose baby was premature is very different than the breastmilk for a full-term baby. Why? Because the premature baby has very different needs, and God made your body to adjust your milk to meet that need perfectly.

    Good luck!
