Is it possible to predict the future? Is it possible to be correct?

One can make any claim as to what will occur in the future. This may be supported by past experience, scientific fact or other things, or may be unsupported. If future events occur as predicted, this will be perceived as an accurate prediction. If they do not, this will not be so perceived. Saying something will occur is a very different thing from knowing it will occur or causing it to occur.

It is possible to predict the future and it can be correct. We are doing it every day in and out. Don't we know the end of a body is death. Don't we know if fever with shivering, with nausea and other symptoms with a particular kind of germ in the body will be Malaria and if not treated a person will die a certain kind of death. The tree is in the seed. By looking at the seed can not we predict what kind of tree will come out of it. Do we not believe in genes. If there is a particular gene missing, or altered or mutated do not we predict the kind of child that is going to take birth. Do not we with the help of many kinds of tests predict the kind of ailments, the kind of child that is going to be born female or male? Don't we predict that consumption of plenty of sugar with a particular kind of defect in pacrease would lead to diabetis? The future is in the present and the present is in the past, the past is in the future and in the present, the present is in the past and the present is in the future, it is only a matter of identifying where is the cause and where is effect, where is the action and where is the reaction, where is seed and what is the tree, who is Brahma in real life, who is Vishnu in real life and who is Maheshwara in real life, i.e. what is beginning, what is middle and what is the end. These if idenfied, the knowledge of the past, present and future will merge into one, and the whole picture will be clear and visible. When you cut anything into Tail, middle and Head, it must be remembered that it was one whole before which you have cut into three and is capable of becoming one whole again. Division is a human brain, look throught he Diviine brain you shall find the whole. Look through the eyes of Cosmic consciousness, the whole universe would become visible to individual consciousness.

I believe some people have a gift and can predict the future, people will say this is impossible but what some people do not understand is there own ignorance

You can predict the future to some accuracy. Weather reports do it all the time. Its all about getting enough information to make your prediction as accurate as possible.

One prediction we all make is that we will be alive tomorrow. Only a very few of us get that wrong.

It is possible to predict a future event and to be correct, this may be considered to be either a lucky guess or a coincidence, by onlookers! Some people think that Prophesies may be self fulfilling, I expect Oedipus would not have killed his father and married his mother if he had been raised by his parents and knew who they were.

You can read daily weather forecast in the newspapers. Some people are trying to bring rain through cloud seeding methods; but mostly it is a failure. In all Indian magazines, there is an astrological forecast which tells about the future of persons belonging to different zodiac signs. They also suggest some remedial measures to ward off the evil effects.

Generally the answer is NO as concerned the Predict of the future for Partially those who are on the Right Paths and Ways of Allah/God, i,e the Straight Way (Q:29:69) they Know out of their DIVINE GUIDANCE (Q:10:9) and LEAD (Q:1:18) some of the things that will happen into their LIVES for they have SPIRITUAL LIGHT (Q:24:35). But they cannot Predict that which will happen to other people Future and in this sense we say No. Concerning PREDILECTION or PREDESTINATION here ye have from the Creator own:

You cannot predict the future.
