Because they contain gases produced by the break-down of sulphurous foods. Eggs contain sulphur as do cabbages, garlic onions, broccoli and the like. The gases are carbon disuphide and hydrogen sulphide.

well the reason is that if farts smell like this it is a natural fart and farts can smell bad and badder but it is just indigestion in the stomach
