Which car do you think is a better buy. I'm looking at 2006-2008 kias with about 70k miles and 2003-2004 jettas with about 115k miles. I don't plan on buying another car for at least 8 more years. Which will be more reliable and least costly over time? Thank you.

I just watched a documentary by National Geographic titled "The Girl in the Glass Casket" about a 2 yr old girl who died in 1920 and was embalmed and placed in a Sicilian catacomb. The documentary was about the efforts to preserve to all the mummies in the catacombs - but especially Rosalia as she looks so almost lifelike. The scientists created a special hermetically sealed enclosed container (with glass top so she is still visible) that would enable her be preserved for another 100 years (so they said). Afterwards I was looking up additional information about her online and I read that she has been removed from the special preservation environment. What I could not find anywhere was why they did this. Was it a religious thing? Did the box not work? Are they considering placing her back in it? I mean why would you remove something as precious as the only perfect mummy to watch it decay? I don't understand this...

I just came home to find a notice slipped under my door stating that my landlord will be doing "yearly inspections tomorrow" between 1 and 2 pm. This was never mentioned by landlord when I checking out the building nor is in anywhere in my lease. My question is, is it legal? I know since i'm leasing it it's technically their property but can they seriously just show up whenever they feel like to have a look around? If so then fine but they have done some shady things before (I had to refuse to sign the lease before they would show me the actual apartment I would be moving into) so I would just like to know. I'm a fan of the Goodnight Kisses and when I was at Wal-Mart last night they didn't have it. After checking online to make sure they still make it I discovered it can be hard to come by so I was wondering if anyone knew of a store that carried it.

I don't mean all tv, but maybe a specific show or a certain episode. I know sometimes after I watch something I just feel really calm and relaxed but in more of a spiritual? way maybe? than a lazy one. So I was just wondering if anyone else ever feels this way after watching something on tv. If so is it you watch? (For me its usually Bones or Being Erica)

We were watching old car ads (50s & 60s mostly) in my advertising class today and some of them had some really kooky features. Pop-up vanities, slide out tables, fold-out steps, one even had a sunshade that came out of the roof! Lol! I was just wondering if there was anywhere that I could get a list or find out what other interesting/weird features some older cars had.

I just got these awesome navy blue pants from new york and company and when I got them home none of my shoes looked right with them..eep! :( So now i'm just trying to figure out what kind of shoes to wear with them. black? brown? gray? white? gold? what? also note that I am talking about shoes here (pumps, boots, heels, flats) as I will be mostly wearing these to work so not flip-flops, sneakers, thonged sandals or like wacky shoes.

I went to Target today and fell in love with a dress, the only problem - its $50. I'm a college student so thats a lot of money to me. So while yes it looked great on me and I could wear it to work and school I put it back as I also have rent due in 2 days. Now I'm wondering if I made the right choice. I don't shop at Target often and I don't know there storeroom policies. How much, if any, clothing inventory is not on the racks? Does everything go on sale if you wait long enough? Is it worth it to hold out or am I taking a big gamble it wont be there? I REALLY want this dress so anyone who has a lot of experience shopping or working at Target, I would really appreciate your advice.

So heres the deal I was really wanting to make chocolate cookies this afternoon (note: chocolate not chocolate-chip). The problem is I don't have that much cocoa left - maybe 4/5 tbs. I also have about 2 cups buttermilk I need to use up and no shortening or regular milk. I have plenty of butter, eggs, sugar, flour and vanilla though. Does anyone have a recipe that will work with what I have? I have been scouring the internet to no avail. I would also be willing to make brownies or maybe a cake.

They are currently offering buy one get one free pants and I applied for a store card to get an additional 20% off. However because I'm under 21 they have to notify me by mail. So I was wondering if I should just go ahead and buy the pants now or wait for the card to get the extra discount. Will get the card before the sale is over?

Hi am looking for a recipe on how to BAKE chicken drumsticks coated in captain crunch cereal. I do NOT want the planet hollywood recipe as that calls for onion powder which I think will be gross. I really want to make this for my roommate so any recipe that is for a sweet breading/coating(?) is fine. Also I don't cook much so if you can tell me what how long to bake it at, what temp, and what kind of pan, etc. I would appreciate it.
