There's so many amazing manga out there; just go and explore around onemanga.com; they took away the reading part of the site, but they've still got a huge database of information about manga. Or you could go to the manga section of animea and check the genres you want... There's lots of great sites for reading manga, but those two have the largest database, mostly. Mangafox is packed with viruses. :|

But you know, my favorite (I'm really bad at choosing favorites, too, because there are so many out there that are so amazing for so many different reasons) is Aria. You might not like it, but I love it so much.

But really, that's just my own oppinion on wonderful manga. Just go out and look through databases on manga-reading sites, choose a random title, read the summary (and the genres, gory things'll probably have horror as one of their genres, although there are a lot of things put as horror when they aren't that scary and are absolutely amazing) and if you think it'll be decent, try it out!

Absolute Boyfriend ought to be the suitable Manga i've got ever examine. I never cry for something, not for unhappy video clips, unhappy books, not something. yet this manga became into SO remarkable, i could not carry it in! (this is not a tragic ending, that's a chuffed ending) I tremendously advise it.

there are tons and tons of manga out there, here are some genres you might wanna look into:

Gekiga- basically dramatic stuff, literary/experimental stuff

Shoujo- stuff aimed at teen girls under 18, usually stuff about romance/relationships and such

Shonen- aimed at teen boys, basically same as shoujo(but i like it better than shoujo x] ) but more action

these are just some of the different genres, but most manga avalible in the U.S has been made into an anime already. I really like deathnote and ultra maniac if you havent already read/watched them(: Try to look into this stuff yourself, theres also tons of fansites and a website called crunchyroll.com...im not sure if they have mangas on there but they do have plenty of anime/japanese flims. Everyone has different tastes, so search your local bookstores for some interesting looking manga. I usually just scim through the book to see if it looks at all interesting before i buy it(x
