How much memory can an Intel Pentium 3 processor support?
We have an old PC but we are not interested in changing it since its gonna be of little or no use. However we are planning to at least upgrade the memory. The processor is an Intel Pentium Three 730 MHz. Just curious to know as to how much maximum RAM can it support.
Thanks.
@Facepalm lolz yes i did sound confusing. However with the change i meant that we do not intend to purchase a new PC.

with P3(which provides less threading) of 750MHz, 1GB is more than sufficient.
and its the mother board supporting the RAM that u must talk about not processor. there wont be necessary slots.

So in one sentence you say you don't want to change it, because it's not going to be of use.
In the next sentence you say you want to change it.
Doesn't make sense.
