Why do you want to know which round is louder?
Every day someone is here asking if the AK-47 is louder than an M4, or 7.62x39 vs. .30-06. Or .17HMR vs. .22LR.
WHY?

I don't get it either. There are better ways to troll. See Newell's posts. At lest he sometimes makes valid points and posts reasonable questions.

Yeah, it kinda makes you miss the good old days of the constant question of how bad fox pee stinks. Haven't heard it asked in a few months now. Maybe he finally found out.

Does not make sense either, anyone with half a functioning brain would be able to understand without even asking that gun fire with these rifles is going to be loud. But there are morons out there that like to ask dumb questions like which is louder.

At least this one didn't ask for you to type a shitload of documentation. I can abide a troll but I support the death penalty for a LAZY troll.

That individual is an air head, and has never heard the .22 Earsplittinloudenboomer, which P.O. Ackley spoke of in his book.
Squiggy you give Newell way too much credit, he is beyond knowledge or the comprehension of it.

I have the same thoughts. Another big one is why everyone wants to know what gun is best to shoot at 1500 yds when they, in all likelihood, can't hit a thing at 100 to start.

I agree, why would someone want to know how loud one caliber is against another caliber. It makes no sense at all. It makes me wonder if they're a troll or something. I mean seriously, what difference does it really make when you consider that all gunfire is inherently loud. I just don't get it, why someone would ask the same questions over and over again.
