Why will the Wiki Leaks creator will be arrested if he returns to the United State?
This post is in no way insulting the citizens of the United States (just to be clear) - just questioning the government.
Why will the Wiki Leaks creator be arrested if he returns to the USA?
He only told everyone about what the USA has done.
The American government talks about free Speech right? Well I guess it only applies when it doesn't reveal to the world something that will position them to be at risk of bad publicity.
Spelling error in question title.

I hope not, our government tends to classify data not just because it is potentially harmful to our troops but also because it is potentially harmful politically to those in power and those running our wars.
If a democracy is going to wage war, the voters deserve to have ALL the information about that war so that we can make an informed decision. Clearly our decision to invade Iraq was NOT well informed, nor was our decision to escalate in Afghanistan. Hopefully the release of these documents, which were said by administration officials to contain no information that was not already available to the public but puts it all in one place for easier study, will help us end our ridiculous involvement in these two wars of ours.

I think it is hype and so does WikiLeaks; according to several precedents set by journalists revealing "leaked" information, there should be no legal grounds for his arrest so long as he reveals the source of the "leak"; people like this cat should be given Presidential honors for their strides to make government transparent (something Obama said he wanted to do), but the U.S. is being a bully (surprise!) as they do not seem to like government transparency historically.

I do not think he has ever been to the USA or has he. If anything his publishing of the papers without removing the names of locals working with us has resulted in death for some people. Arrest, I'd rather see him shot where ever he is.

Free speech does not apply to direct breaches in security. It's the same reason you can't sue your boss using stolen classified information

Free Speech has nothing to do with receiving stolen materials belonging to someone else.
He can say whatever he wants against the war...that is free speech. But those materials are classified as well as stolen and not "free speech"

The charge would be espionage.
Releasing secrets during time of war and endangering the lives of American troops no matter if its fact or truth still KILLS soldiers that is called spying because it aids the enemy.
It is also punishable by death if need be.

I hope he does come back to the States as I want to see it when they put the "bracelets" on him and cart his azz off to jail! I hope we try his treasonous little US Army buddy with him and put them both before a firing squad!
