Don't you just love people who answers questions about which branch is better?

I love the ones comparing the Marines to any of the Spec Ops. That's my personal favorite.

Which is the Special operations/Special Forces has the hardest training. Unless you've gone to their indoc and /or different schools, you got no right to say who's better.

Some Call of duty questions are dumb too.

Some questions that aren't really questions but more like rants (ie: We should replace the m-16 because it jams more and the ak is better? ) And the person would rant about the flaws of the m-16 when they likely haven't use it.

Other stupid answers I've seen:

The Marine Corps is not a branch, it's part of the Navy.

Army training sucks.

Well for anyone that has served it is known that each rank has equal pay regardless of branch, an E-5 in the Army makes what and E-5 in the Air Force makes, but there could be a difference in special duty pay and how quickly a person can advance. And as far as benefits are concerned each service gives 30 days paid leave and free medical etc, but other benefits do vary from service to service, such as money for school, student loan repayment etc.

I love the "pays more excuse" when the pay chart is universal. That one blows my mind and proves that the person answering is clueless.

OH! I got one. I actually saw an answer once where a girl told another girl her bf should join the Airforce because the USAF is the only branch that allows gf's to live on base and have the same rights as "spouses." Jeesh.

I hate when people say "Join the Guard! You'll rarely deploy and if you do you'll just do gate guard the whole time" When I was deployed I saw alot of active duty soldiers pulling the gate guard shifts because they had non-combat jobs and were sent to do gate/tower guard the whole time. I'm in the Infantry and my unit got attached to the 82nd and 1st Cav and went on all the same patrols they did. Shorty after I got home from Iraq I was called by my unit and asked if I'd like to deploy to Haiti... Im not complaining about deploying or anything but people who think they Guard doesn't do anything are really stupid.

the dumbest? You are going to die if you join the Army or Marines, so join the Air Force because it's the safest and you never deploy.
