'Burn Quran Day' an outrage to Muslims?

In less than a month, Pastor Terry Jones of the Dove World Outreach Center in Florida plans to host "Burn a Quran Day" to mark the ninth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

The planned burning has already caused alarm in the Muslim world, with the pre-eminent Sunni university, Al-Azhar in Cairo, Egypt, condemning it as "stirring up hate and discrimination."

Sounds like a party or what? B.Y.O.B.

Cry havoc and let loose the dogs of war!!!!!

The Quran is very expensive and on the side human beings, this is the words of Allah swt. I dont have faith for a minute a Muslim could write in them using fact this is going against ISLAM. I do have faith the human beings have made this tale up using fact they are interior the incorrect and cant detect a superb rreason why they did it. I dont hate usa and that i dont hate the yank human beings yet who I do hate is the yank government. I propose...that pastor who burned a million Quran made one in each and every of those headline and dissatisfied alot of human beings how do you think of burning a million/2 a library nicely worth became going to pass? Your government isnt the best...yet I do have faith they did it deliberatly to upward push tensions.

Probably. Idolatry is supposed to be forbidden in Islam yet they worship the Koran.

I am a Christian and wouldn't care if someone burned the Bible. Christ is the Word of God, not some book.

Either way, it's dumb to offend Muslims. I don;t think this is a good way to show Christian love...

They are already pretty upset about Draw Muhammad Day, which will happen again next year--I hope--on 20 May.

I don't care if people burn Bibles so why are the Muslims so upset about a Quran being burned? They need to get over themselves.

And you wonder why the Imam said the US was "accessory" to the 911 attacks.

Should the rest of us start burning bibles?

Burning books ,any books is a disgrace ,no book should ever be burnt. Why insult millions of people because of the actions of a few. ?

    Burning books. Think about it.

That's just really really really bad PR no matter how you shake it.
