Can any atheist explain this miracle?

Yesterday I prayed to God to win the lottery and then today I found a comic book I had mislaid more than 4 years ago! Can anyone deny this was God's way of giving me some relaxing reading material to take my mind off the effort of trying to figure out winning lottery numbers. And yet even when faced with a miracle like this some atheists will still claim there is no God - just shows how bigoted they are!

I love how people will actually take this seriously. I suppose God has nothing better to do than make sure you're comfortable. All of this while millions of children starve on a daily basis.

There is no such thing as a miracle. Most occurrences, weird as they may seem, can be rationally explained by science and the rest goes to "$hit happens" Miracle (according to Webster's dictionary) is: 1: an extraordinary event manifesting divine intervention in human affairs 2: an extremely outstanding or unusual event, thing, or accomplishment 3: Christian Science: a divinely natural phenomenon experienced humanly as the fulfillment of spiritual law

how nice of him to give you a winning lottery ticket and a comic book, I hope he did not forget to feed the Innocent starving children in Africa oh if only those children prayed for the lottery all would be right

Pretty funny, but as sure as I am you are joking it doesn't sound that far off from most the 'testimonies to the power of prayer' that were for real I've heard. I know I'm stubborn and hard hearted but as convincing and compelling as these personal testimonies are I'm still not buying, I know, I must really hate god to not believe it exists with all this great evidence you've supplied. Sorry. =)

    Obvious silly troll is silly.

But I like comic books, too. I found an old comic book recently too. Spiderman/Punisher crossover, old school, 1980's. It felt really good, I hadn't seen this in years, and it was a gift from an old friend.

Anyway,I didn't pray, but I was cleaning an there it was, in a pile of old papers.

Moral of the story? You can pull any meaning you want out of a pile of old papers.

God actually won't help you out to win lottery, God doesn't like bets and luck games, that stuff is from the devil. So the answer is no, You won't find any numbers there...Not by god's help

Didn't you pray to win the lottery? And you found a comic book.

You're right, there must be a God! I've been wrong all this time! I shall hereby discard all my worldly possessions and go be a missionary in the jungle.

I was an atheist for many years prior to reading your story. Praise the Lord! How could I have been so wrong???

I hope you worked out how stupid that miracle is. God getting you to think straight seems to be the miracle I'd be after if I were you.
