That is a very good idea, so I have to answer that with a resounding, YES! As long as the liberals that know nothing about legal immigration don't give the test.

When I was in school what was taught was the History of the USA not the trash today like being gay and sex education in 1st grade.How to speak english was all that was mandatory. Any other if U wanted to learn. Today it spanish and the time sent teaching the illegals english handicaps the citizens and there learning.

So what if you fail the citizenship test you're deported from your friends, family, job, everything? That and you basically learn American values going through High School anyway so what's the point? Also should people with mental disability take the test as well?

I think 80% of people at 18 should go into public service for 2 years: military, medical, public works, etc.

Or would it smarter to fire all the History teachers that person had that failed the test?
