Can I still be Pastafarian?

If I have become a Vegan? I'm sure I can find some spelt, non-egg noodles somewhere, but what do I do for the meatballs? How can I worship his Noodly Appendage in a meat-free, animal-cruelty-free way? Will the great and blessed FSM still accept my offerings?

Luckily, beer is Vegan.

Right?

Update:

Some good food for thought. Thanks!

Except for you, Abdullah. I happen to know where meat comes from here in the US. I've learned a lot about factory farming over the years. I've also recently been inspecting places and have taken a course in food microbiology. With all of the recalls and foodborne illnesses (which I also deal with), I'm pretty much done with meat. So you can bite me.

It is meet and right that you eat your egg free noodles with a clear conscience. Have faith that enough other Pastafarians are eating meatballs to keep the Universe in balance.

Edit: Abjure the heresy of the Pestofarians! They (Occasionally Sane... Really!) say 'must' contain nuts. Such use of the word 'must'. Such intolerence! I call for the complete intolerance of their intolerance!

And then, more beer and forgiveness. Maybe even make-up sex.

Somewhere I've heard about or read about some non-meat "meat"--supposedly it has the texture and taste of, say, Chef Boyardee meatballs but I can't attest to that personally.

Besides, Burger King used to have, and maybe still has, the "Boca Burger" made out a meat substitute. Never had one, though.

Oodles of noodles covered in marinara or alfredo sauce does sound good now, though. Yumm!

If you do some research, you will find many, many decent meat-replacement items. I personally like the Morning Star Farms line, and I'm an omnivore. You can also simply skip the meat balls and stick to murdering only the poor tomatoes and the noble wheat stalks. They, too, are part of his flesh, and cannot be overlooked in the communion. He is not, after all, the flying Meatloaf.

Junny has considered Pastafarian as a religious choice. But due to his incredible magnificience, he has foreseen the dangers of committing oneself to Spaghetti with meatballs, every day of the week.

Sure, the FSM is not a jealous god. He just doesn't care what you do, he loves you anyway. He's kinda nutty like that. Don;t worry, you can still be a VEGAN Pastafarian!!

You can join our splinter group called the Pestofarians. We believe that all sauce must contain nuts instead of meat...

Animals that only eat has different shapes of teeth. Animals that only eat leaves/vegetables/fruits have different kind of teeth. We humans have both types of teeth allowing us to eat meat and leaves/vegetables/fruits. God created all life and made us viceroys on Earth. It is a bounty from God that we are are allowed to eat meat of certain animals and certain edible vegetables/fruits/leaves. And yet you are not thankful to God, by only restricting your food to certain things.
