How to universally deactivate hyperlinks in a Word document on Word for Mac?
I need to deactivate the hyperlinks on a Word document that is several hundred pages long, with hundreds of links. I know how to deactivate them one at a time. How to do it universally, and not erase the text?
2 AnswersSoftware8 years agoIn Downton Abbey season 3, why does Bates' cellmate hate Bates? Ditto for that one guard. And what was?
that contraband that was planted in Bates' bunk? What was the contraband found in the cellmate's bunk? Did he get an extra year just for that contraband?
4 AnswersDrama8 years agoAre Social Security disability benefits reduced when a person reaches age 63 or the age they normally would?
have retired at?
If someone starts getting Social Security disability at age 56, they are getting a higher monthly payment than they would if they had retired at age 63. When they reach age 63, does the monthly payment amount drop down to the lower amount they would have received at that age if they had never become disabled?
5 AnswersOther - Politics & Government9 years agoShould I trust the Higg's Boson? I hear it's a fundamental particle, and those fundamentals say the Earth is?

A real puzzler.
1 AnswerPhysics9 years agoWhat is the complete line that goes "Blinded by the light. --- --- --- in the middle of the night." In a sort?

3 AnswersLyrics9 years agoAge of "consent" for murder vs sex? Do you find it odd that a 15 year old is considered responsible enough to?
be tried as an adult if she murders a 19 year old boyfriend, but not considered responsible enough to make the decision to have sex with him?
In a number of jurisdictions, a juvenile (14,15, some places 16) is considered to not have a developed enough mind to consent to sex. But if a juvenile commits murder, they can be tried as an adult. This move for juveniles to be "charged as an adult" has increased in recent years. (This question still applies if the genders are reversed, or the same. But that brings up even more factors, and differences in how the law is applied.)
Any answers to this contradiction?
8 AnswersLaw & Ethics9 years agoIn the Mary Poppins *books*, were the twins (infants) able to converse with animals, because they could not?
yet speak language?
Trying to recall the book in which two small children converse with small animals outside their nursery window. The (birds and ?) mention it is too bad, soon the children will be old enough to speak, and then will not be able to understand animal speech anymore. The children say no, they will remember, but the birds come back in the spring, and the children cannot understand them, are speaking words with adults.
Was this in the Mary Poppins books? The first one?

1 AnswerChristmas9 years agoAre there any holidays or events in Paris, France, this Nov 5th and 6th? I will be there just for the?

3 AnswersWords & Wordplay1 decade agoFrequent flyers - do you hear other people's loud music from their earbuds when you are on a plane?
I ride the subway here in NYC, and a real problem has developed. Some people play their 'iPod' music so loud in their ear buds that I can hear it from 10 or 15 feet away. Even when the train is moving. Absolutely no exaggeration. Mostly hear the loud percussion, but can also hear all the music.
Is this happening on airplanes? I will be flying a couple of times this year, and wonder how airlines are dealing with this.

6 AnswersAir Travel1 decade agoWhen/who first came up with the idea of having *chocolate eggs* at Easter in addition to the traditional eggs?
He or she deserves a Nobel Prize! But I am really curious to know when this started. (I already know all about why there is an egg tradition for Easter, and earlier Spring Equinox holidays.)
I want to know about the Chocolate!

3 AnswersEaster1 decade agoKnow anything definite about that clip of a plane shot down, supposedly in Libya today? Saw that clip of?
a flaming fighter jet crashing to earth on three different news channels - but none gave any details of whose plane it was, or even where they got the video from.
(By the look of it, I'm 99.9% sure it was not American or British.) Design looked French or Russian. Pretty sure the Libyans have French and Russian planes. The French of course have French planes.
Reports clearly stated the French flew planes against ground targets. There was no statement of losses, and a modern state like France would announce losses like that when they occurred. But no clear statement by any news organization of whether the French had announce the safe return of all of their planes.
Sorry for the overlong question, but I'm a little frustrated at these news organizations not clearly stating what they know or don't know, or what inquiries they have made that have been unanswered. Any info you have in any of this would be appreciated.
