If you want to try it, get a pantyhose or a sachet and tie it so it wont break open or melt and put your tea in there or any other herb like lavender or mint. It might also be your laundry detergent too, try different brands and you won't even need anything to put in the dryer.

The clothes going into the dryer are wet, right?

What happens when you add water to a tea bag? I'm thinking it will leave tea stains all over the clothes.

I like the idea, though ... maybe if you wrapped the tea bag in a piece of thin cloth and tied the cloth closed, you could toss that in at the very end of the drying cycle, after the clothing is dry.

Better to add one-half to one cup baking soda to the wash water for freshness.

Also, using a small amount of essential oil such as lavender on a small piece of rag tossed into the dryer with your clothes is a nice natural freshness.

The bag of tea will break open & you'll have to wash everything again. I know this, I used to work at a tea plant & actually run the machines.
