Honestly, do you tell your mate every single thing? Things that you may tell a best friend and not your mate?

No I don't, let there be some mystery. He always wonders what's going on in my head.

I tell him everything except things from my past that im not necessarily proud of. He is my best friend though and he does know some stuff other people dont.

I don't tell him things others have told me in confidence. I don't believe in that whole if you tell one assume the spouse knows too thing- that's too shady for me.

I wouldn't tell my husband about a struggle a friend maybe having at work or their financial woes she may be venting about to me.

I don't tell my husband about how I feel about our differences in home care. Both of us do it differently and sometimes his neat obessions get to me but he does it, so I don't choose to care about it. I may vent but I don't really care. It's done. (or redone by him if I do it, ha ha)

in all honesty, my husband is my best friend and he does know it all. he knows all of my past that i can recall and every significant thing that i think about or that happens to me. he does the same with me.

yes, i tell him most everything. i do have a best friend i can talk to about things i can't talk to my spouse about, though... for instance, the annoying things my spouse does...
