Baseball survey: Favorite team and state you live in (Day 3 + results Days 1&2)?

Hopefully I can get an understanding of (A) the favorite team in a state with multiple teams and (B) the favorite team in a state without a team.

Please only answer once. Not sure how many days I'll go, but I'll aim for 5. (posting the results each time, going by state) Then I'll post the final results after those 5 days.

example (nothing more, nothing less, otherwise not counted)

Twins, Minnesota.

and if you're out of the United States, then go by country.

Oh, and star to spread it around!! Thanks :)

BQ (for those who already took the survey) thoughts so far?

oh, and the % is percent of that state followed by hwo many people have voted for that team/state.

for example:

Minnesota: Twins 100% (4)

^ so 4 people all voted for the Twins, making it 100%.

Update:

@Twinstripes: I had no idea you were from Iowa. Cool.

Update 2:

@ niho: you can vote all you want, it just won't be counted :)

Update 3:

wow. I said BASEBALL. Amazing how many people don't read that part of the Q...

Update 4:

hey, we finally have a Mets fan from NY!

Update 5:

thanks Kev. And guess what I'm doing after this? More picture Q's! :D

Update 6:

what surprises me: nobody from Arizona!

Oh, and I never put in District of Columbia. (Where else would the Nationals fans be from othewise?)

Update 7:

@ Bill: wow. I didn't even know that. Only 20/30?

Update 8:

over 100 votes now. Thanks a lot everyone! :D

Update 9:

There we go. A nationals fan. 21/30.

and I will add D.C. thank you.

Update 10:

@ Tigers and Padres: How about this... we do half a vote for the Tigers and half a vote for the Padres. Deal?

Update 11:

An orioles fan! 22/30

Already answered so I'll take the bonus. I'm the MS guy who said the Cardinals. They're the most popular team up here in the northwestern part of the state (the Memphis metro area). But statewide the Braves, and possibly the Astros, are more popular. We have a lot of misguided people in this state.

I'm surprised there are more Red Sox fans well away from Boston than any other team has fans far away from their home city. Also, 12 fans in New York, but no Mets votes yet? That's pretty surprising.

    Yankees, South Dakota

    Nationals, Virginia

BTW, 100% of NYers support the Yankees? Not a single Mets fan?

    Twins, Minnesota (or Latvia, lol)

BQ: What surprises me... only 20 of the 30 teams have been voted for!! There have been no Indians, Padres, Marlins, Astros, Royals, D'backs, Pirates, Orioles, Rockies or Nationals fans to speak of.

    Baltimore Orioles Maryland.

  • BQ: Shocked by Bill's observation! We now have a Nat's fan, so down to 9. But wow, that's a lot of teams that aren't getting represented so far.

Looks like you may have to go 5 days to catch them.

    Great idea by the way!

BQ: I think its a great idea and the responses are good. Its very surprising that there are no Met fans living in New York that have responded to this.

EDIT: Good! Its been too long without the picture captions!
