bleeding with bowel movement?

sometimes bleeding without a bowel movement in young child. It has been determined by a doc that there was no sexual abuse - no tearing. No one with history of abuse in the child's life. (Doesn't mean it can't happen - I'm not ruling it out yet) But the child's skin looks off - grayish. Keeps saying they have to poop but sometimes nothing there or just bleeding. brownish red discharge. Child has to go for scope sooner than later. Any ideas? The child is sometimes anxious due to mom being in hospital on and off for long periods this past year - ulcers? That is now past but child still has upsets about where's mommy? Also wondering about anemia, kidneys, liver?

I know we have to wait and see what the tests show, just my head keeps worrying so no sleep for the weary.

Update:

yes, child will say 5 - 10 time within a short period that they need to go until it has all cleaned out. Then the whole routine starts again with the next bowel movement.
