Urahara is currently Incapacitated (Unconscious or knocked out basically) along with Yoruichi, Yamamoto, Shunsui, Ukitake, Hitsugaya, Shinji, Soifon and other Gotei 13/Vizards. Unohana (The best healer in Bleach) is there most likely treating everyone. Seriously though, if Urahara died I wouldn't watch the anime or read the manga. He's my absolute favorite character.

he's not dead, he's just injured, along with yoruichi and isshin, who fought aizen before aizen and gin left for the real karakura town.
